The International Higher Education Forum (IHEF) is an event that is designed to bring together senior leaders in international higher education from across UK universities to debate and discuss the latest challenges facing the sector.
The event was about providing a space, from which 140+ UK university members could emerge clearer in their thinking around how they will develop their international strategies moving forward, in light of these current challenges.
The team of 8 developed the event in its entirety, from concept to delivery. They developed the content, marketing and communications, as well as building and running the technical side of the platform ourselves. They ran Zoom-powered YouTube streams into their Glisser platform, alongside smaller breakout and networking sessions accessed through Glisser. They built sponsors online exhibition booths, and ran rehearsals with all speakers on the platform.
This resulted in the most attendees they have ever had, at over 530 and put on the biggest programme they ever had, with more than 80 speakers across more than 25 sessions.
