NSPCC’s Special Events team is a talented and busy team of eight and sit within the High Value Partnerships Department under the Income Generation Directorate. Their main objective is to raise funds through high value events.
In a normal year, the team would manage six core fundraising events as well as support and manage multiple fundraising events for other teams. Last year was incredibly challenging for the team, they had a number of events due to take place in the Spring and Summer which were all cancelled and their face to face gala dinner events that all normally take place from September through to February all had to pivot to virtual events.
The Special Events team showed true resilience and determination last year working with committees on developing their events so they could continue to be there for children and young people who desperately needed them during this difficult time.
