Having run for over 10-years, the Global IR Forum experienced declining attendances and sponsorship. As a result, before Covid-19, the team planned to postpone the event to 2022 to allow for more marketing lead times. They needed to secure sponsor revenue and generate commercial opportunities. In addition, our community needed information about how to move forward with a challenge that impacted the global profession.
Delegates were treated to a unique production, with both interactive elements, networking and a variety of topics delivered by the most senior speakers in the industry.
The successes weren’t just on a financial level, but brand value increased, as they were the highest attended and biggest IR event in the world in 2020.
