The DEHN Summer Festival 2024 was an extraordinary logistical masterpiece with a clear vision: a big thank you to the workforce, combined with three significant milestones – the 110th anniversary (postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic), the commissioning of the new plant, and the launch of the DEHN2030 sustainability strategy.

The challenge: A fully operational production site with global logistics hub functions had to be transformed into a safe, family-friendly festival site for 4,500 registered guests, parallel to day-to-day operations. The organizational requirements were enormous: a highly sensitive security environment (flight zone), a multitude of customized parking solutions, the simultaneous management of two major events (including a live-streamed job mile), a tightly scheduled production operation, and an unexpected storm shortly before the festival required maximum flexibility and precision. Nevertheless, the entirely in-house DEHN team – without an agency, with 150 crew members – managed to implement all tasks with pinpoint accuracy.

The result: an unforgettable celebration that embodied the pride of the new workplace, sustainably strengthened DEHN’s employer brand, and remained within budget despite all the challenges. The identification with the company, the internal networking, and the safety and logistics concept were exemplary.
