As a result of a successful online Christmas recognition campaign which brought the team together and made a real difference to colleague’s wellbeing, Uplift Festival was created for around 65,000 Co-op, Nisa and franchise colleagues in total. 

A physical event of this volume would have a big environmental impact, therefore creating an online version would not only reduce this impact on the environment but increase sustainability and increase the overall reach.

The event was the first ever online Co-op festival, not only helping all colleagues and piers through tough times, but also to ensure the event didn’t have a negative impact on the environment.
