Cvent’s annual customer conference, has traditionally been held in-person.
In 2019, they brought more than 4,200 industry professionals to Las Vegas. When the pandemic hit in 2020, they had already mapped out our 3-day in- person event, but like so many others, they were forced to pivot, and the team began planning for their first-ever Cvent CONNECT Virtual.
In less than 120 days, Cvent planned, managed, and executed an entirely new event on an entirely new product, in an entirely NEW operating environment. Right when virtual fatigue was setting in, Cvent CONNECT Virtual brought the excitement back to the industry.
Cvent CONNECT Virtual was the epitome of a successful virtual event, that not only offered a way to broadcast out to customers, but more importantly to engage with them.
Through Cvent CONNECT Virtual, they brought together tens of thousands of industry professionals together and gave them hope for a bright future for events.
