WHO SHOULD ENTER?

WHO CANNOT ENTER?
We accept entries from any corporate event planner. However, if you are an Agency or a Supplier you must enter on behalf of your client. If the entry is for the Agency or Supplier themselves this will be excluded. Entries made on behalf of a client must have the client attending on the night with the Agency or Supplier that entered them.

You can choose from 8 categories for your events, and they can be either live, hybrid, or virtual. Access details on each category, including criteria, what the judges are seeking, and the relevant questions by downloading the information here.
HOW MANY EVENTS CAN BE ENTERED?
As many as you want! There is no limit on how many events or categories can be entered.
If you believe your event is suitable for multiple categories, you are most welcome to enter your event into more than 1 category. However, please do remember it’s important for you to tailor your answer to address the category you are entering for the best chance of winning.

No, this is an International Awards ceremony and we welcome entries from across the globe!

Attendance on the night is by confirmation of places and will not be open to individuals who have not confirmed their place. FOUR complimentary places are given per organization to award entrants regardless of the number of events/categories entered. Our Sponsors and Partners host these places.
If you require additional places, these can be purchased at $200 + VAT per individual to a maximum of 10 places.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Nothing! It is free of charge to enter your events.
WILL ANY FINANCIAL INFORMATION NEED TO BE DISCLOSED?
Financial figures are NOT required. The event may have a budget of £50k or £1 million and the award is judged on whether it has met its objective. So ‘Glam’ is not essential. Read our A – Z Guide for useful tips on presenting financials and other useful information.
IS THERE ANY HELP OR GUIDANCE OFFERED?
Yes, we want this process to be FUN, not daunting! That’s why we have a dedicated Corporate Support team ready to assist you at every step of the submission process. They will stay in regular contact to ensure you have all the support and information you need.
We also have ICE mentors who can provide guidance and advice on creating an award-winning submission. Entrants have found this initiative helpful and appreciated having someone to exchange ideas with. Simply create an account, and we’ll match you with a mentor who can assist you in developing your ideas.
WHO ARE THE JUDGES?
Our leading panel of judges are industry professionals who have in-depth experience in running events.
The judges are independent and not linked to any of the entrants. We also ensure that they all sign Non-Disclosure Agreements so no information is disclosed to any third party whatsoever. For more information on our current US judges, please click here.
WHAT IS THE JUDGING PROCESS?
Following the deadline, the judges are sent login details where they can view your submitted entries including any supporting documents which have been supplied. The judges are asked to score each question on a scale of 1 – 5 (1 being poor 5 being excellent).
After the individual scoring, the judges meet via telephone call to discuss the entries which is when we let them know which entry scored the most. The judges discuss the entries that are in the top 3 and 1st, 2nd and 3rd places are then agreed. The judges are looking to see if the event objectives were met and how you have answered the questions clearly to demonstrate the event’s fulfillment of the criteria.
This final decision is not announced until the night.
WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
The dress code for the ICEAWARDS is evening business attire.
