The Co-op Annual General Meeting is a celebration of who they are, what they do and showcases the businesses and community activity.
As the event pivoted, they had to quickly react and devise a format that would deliver an engaging event whilst keeping people safe by adhering to social distancing guidelines. This approach was unprecedented as for the first time ever in Co-op history, they were asking Members to stay home, vote on AGM motions in advance and join us on the day to watch and engage in a live, digital event.
The event was a huge success and it provided an innovative way for members to join in and be fully engaged in a difficult environment – it was transformed in 90 days into an adapted and still highly successful event.
